Why did the Prime Minister remain silent on the demand for withdrawal of agricultural laws?

The Prime Minister also said about the opposition that there were no apprehensions from his side. Did the farmers not talk about any work with the government in the 10-10 rounds of talks?

The Prime Minister gave a speech in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday after speaking on the President's address to the Rajya Sabha. There was a ten-round discussion with the farmers. Did the farmers not say anything in that conversation that the Prime Minister could answer in the House? When the Prime Minister was speaking on this point in the Lok Sabha, there was opposition from the opposition and there was talk of withdrawing the black law. The Prime Minister also said about the opposition that there were no apprehensions from his side. Did the farmers not talk about any work with the government in the 10-10 rounds of talks?

In response to the question of who demanded the agricultural law, the Prime Minister said that from the end of dowry, child marriage, right to education to triple talaq, someone had demanded. There is a long movement behind the abolition of dowry, triple talaq, child marriage. The Indian Muslim Women's Movement had raised its voice from Gujarat and Maharashtra regarding triple talaq. In 2007, there was a plea in the Indian Muslim Women's Movement in Gujarat demanding the abolition of triple talaq. Made it the main issue.

Similarly, there were agitations against dowry even before the law. Many organizations raised their voice. There was a long movement to end the practice of child marriage. From Rammohan Roy to Ishwarchand Vidyasagar, Pandita Ramabai, Savitribai Phule, Jyotiba Phule, how many women organizations have been involved in this. How can anyone forget the name of Harbilas Sharda?

The Prime Minister must have felt that this mistake has happened only then he added that the great men like Raja Rammohun Roy, Jyotiba Phule, Dr. Ambedkar, Ishwarchand Vidyasagar stood in reverse in front of the society and raised a fleet of social reforms. However, the Prime Minister kept defending the agricultural laws. The Prime Minister is saying that the market option is being given. There is no coercion on the farmers. But the farmers say that in the name of the new option the old is being replaced. The Prime Minister asked the farmers to sit at the table and discuss.

The movement was also mentioned in the Lok Sabha. The Prime Minister made it clear that the Kisan movement is sacred, but the demolition of the mobile tower, stopping the toll plaza is to break the sanctity of the movement, they are agitators.

The Lok Sabha speech was different from the Rajya Sabha. Agriculture got more expansion in Lok Sabha than Rajya Sabha. The Prime Minister has given many references, counts other benefits, which can be discussed separately, but in all such inspiring topics, such schemes are also counted in success whose facts are different from the claims. In the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister did not say a word on contract farming, which is a complete law related to it. The Prime Minister did not say a word on the authority given to the SDM, about which questions were being raised. The storage law could also be spoken about whether it would benefit small farmers or would benefit big industrialists. In the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister added new laws to agricultural laws with the freedom of small farmers.

In the Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister said that there are 12 crore small and marginal farmers. The Prime Minister counted several schemes for the development of 12 crore farmers. Those plans can be investigated separately, who really benefited from this? On the demand for a guarantee of MSP, it was said that rich farmers get it. They are asking for the same. The rest is not available. Ritika Kheda, Prankur Gupta, and Sudha Narayan have told from their research that 99 percent of the paddy farmers getting MSP are small and marginal farmers. 97 percent of wheat farmers who get MSP are small and marginal farmers.

It's obvious that the farmers seeking MSP guarantee are also small and marginal farmers. Congress leader Randeep Surjewala has made a tweet that in 2011, as Chief Minister, Prime Minister Modi himself suggested the guarantee of MSP to the Central Government. The way Prime Minister Modi cites Manmohan Singh's statements in support of agricultural markets. The Prime Minister also gave many such examples in the Lok Sabha.

It is clear that the section of small and marginal farmers is also agitating against agricultural laws. If there had been a movement of big farmers, there would not have been such a crowd in the maha panchayat in the village.

Mahapanchayat was held in Firozpur village of Bulandshahr. Farmer's tractors are now running towards these maha panchayats. Our colleague Manish told that people from far away villages had gathered for the Mahapanchayat of Ferozepur. Rashtriya Lok Dal is organizing maha panchayat in west UP. It is worth noting that this party does not have any representative in UP Assembly nor in Parliament. That is, it does not have a single seat in these areas. Can the Rashtriya Lok Dal make such a huge maha panchayat on its own? It is obvious that farmers are seeing agricultural laws differently from the speech and pleas of the Prime Minister. Today, BJP has the ability to hold such meetings in UP. You will remember, BJP started holding rallies all over the country to protest the meetings against the citizenship law, but this time there are no rallies against the maha panchayat of farmers. Whereas in the matter of human resources, the BJP cannot compete with the National Lok Dal. It has also been announced that a maha panchayat of 36 fraternity will be called in Bulandshahr soon.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi attended a maha panchayat in Saharanpur on Wednesday. There is not much distance between Bulandshahr and Saharanpur but the presence of farmers in two maha panchayat of the same area is telling that these maha panchayats cannot be successful without small and marginal farmers. The number of people coming to this maha panchayat cannot be seen as an uprising for any one party. Alam is that maha panchayat is being announced anywhere, farmers are reaching with tractors. Of course, Congress leaders are now reaching these Mahapanchayats. Priyanka Gandhi said that two airplanes have been purchased for the Prime Minister for 16 thousand crores rupees. With which they can roam around the world. Parliament is being beautified for 20 thousand crores. The 56-inch chest has a small heart that beats only for billionaire friends.

In Saharanpur, Priyanka Gandhi was targeting the government for privatization, while after a while in the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister was defending the decision of privatization. The Prime Minister said, 'We will be wealth creators only then there will be employment, IAS cannot be all. Not all IAS will be in the country, Babu is also of the country and the soldiers of the country are also of the country.

It may sound good to hear this argument of privatization of public sector, but instead, if the data were kept that how many have got employment due to privatization of these sectors? People working earlier were fired or more people got work. Andon is running against the privatization of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited in Visakhapatnam. There are 35000 employees working here. Of this, 17000 are temporary. CITU, AITUC, Bharatiya Mazdoor Union are protesting. The movement has been going on since 4 February. The union fears that people will be sacked from privatization. People had donated land for this steel plant. He was promised a job in lieu of land. Some people have got jobs, still, 8000 families giving land have not got jobs. The union alleges that the government is selling this steel plant cheaply. So far, this steel plant has given 4200 crores to the Central and State Government as a dividend.

The Prime Minister has made one thing clear that he is not going to back down. They are not going to back down from the protest against privatization. The Prime Minister kept many facts that can be reviewed separately. Whatever we will do next.
